Vaughan Laws was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia. He first picked up a DSLR camera in 2013 to photograph his young children, but soon after Vaughan started to expand his creativity by exploring the world of light painting and macro photography.
Vaughan's vision soon turned to landscape and weather photography after capturing summer storms over Port Phillip Bay.

In the last year, Vaughan has expanded his creative vision by capturing unique perspectives from the sky thanks to the advancements in drone technology.
He is always striving to improve and create new perspectives in all his photography. Vaughan's images have been published in the Herald Sun, online news articles, channel 9 & 10 news, and have been used by the Bureau of Meteorology numerous times.
