Opera House Monk (Panorama)

The Sydney Opera House, designed by Danish architect Jørn Utzon and opened in 1973, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a masterpiece of modern architecture. Its iconic sail-like shells faced immense engineering challenges, causing 10-year delays and costs to soar from $7 million to $102 million. The building was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 20 October 1973.
