Celebrating Culture

Culture shapes our beliefs and who we are. Take the good and let it be a part of you. This image represents (North) Macedonian culture. The culture I grew up in. A culture inspired by Roman and Turkish influences. Traditional dress is typically red, maroon, black and white with embroidery and motifs providing cultural and regional significance. The national flower is the poppy and the Demoiselle crane is the national bird. The sun represents freedom. My favourite aspects of Macedonian culture is the traditional dancing and food. Both bring people together.
