Connection to Country

Artist - Kim Kelly

I was born in Geelong, but when I was adopted, I moved & lived with a great family in Ballarat. I have always loved art. In 2019 I discovered I was Aboriginal when my daughter did a DNA test. I then discovered my Aboriginal family, & found out my Father was an artist. My artwork has & continues to assist me to find out more about my culture, and gives me connection to my Country. I have sold several pieces and feel my culture is being acknowledged when someone buys one for their home.
